Roles
The people and roles you may see across Unetwork.
- ULO
- Unetwork License Operator. The person who runs a license on a phone or device.
- UNO
- Unetwork Node Operator. The network-side operator tied to the UNO side of a reward split.
- Referrer
- A person who shares a referral link and may earn rewards when a referred license qualifies.
- Scout
- An operator who finds possible voice routes and submits accurate reports from a dedicated prepaid SIM.
- Runner
- An operator who verifies Scout-found routes with live calls from dedicated prepaid SIMs.
- SuperScout
- An appointed ScoutQuest reviewer and community helper under a separate program agreement.
- APEX Telecom
- The third-party operator for the Scout & Runner task experience.
Licenses and setup
The basic terms for claiming and activating a license.
- Unetwork App
- The mobile app used to activate a license, run tasks, and check rewards.
- Unetwork license
- A digital credential that lets one phone or device join eligible Unetwork tasks.
- Claim code
- The code reserved from this site and entered in the Unetwork App to activate a license.
- License code
- A user-facing name for the claim code you enter during app setup.
- Reward split
- The UNO / ULO share attached to a claim code. Check it before activation.
- One license, one device
- Each license is for one device. Another phone needs another license.
- Uptime
- How consistently your device stays online, signed in, and ready for tasks.
Tasks and validation
The work your licensed device may be asked to do.
- Task
- Eligible network work assigned through the app. Availability can vary by market and device.
- Telemetry
- Passive service measurements from real devices and real connections.
- Entropy
- A task where devices contribute real-world randomness signals for secure systems.
- Caller ID Testing (CLI)
- A task that checks whether test calls show the correct caller ID.
- ScoutQuest
- A periodic Scout research module for submitting local prepaid SIM and package combinations for review.
- Dedicated prepaid SIM
- A SIM or eSIM used only for Scout or Runner work, not daily personal use.
- Validation
- The review process that confirms whether a task or report can earn rewards.
Rewards and withdrawals
The terms used for UP rewards, payouts, and referrals.
- UP / UPs
- Unetwork Points reward accounting units. On this portal, 1 UP is 1 USD.
- Approved rewards
- UP rewards that pass validation and any required review.
- Management portal
- The portal where operators check rewards and submit withdrawal requests.
- Crypto wallet withdrawal
- A withdrawal sent to a supported wallet or crypto app after identity verification (KYC). Check the asset, chain, and address.
- Bank account withdrawal
- A withdrawal sent by bank transfer after identity and account checks.
- Identity verification
- The KYC checks needed before crypto wallet or bank account withdrawals can be sent.
- Referral link
- A shareable link that helps connect a new claim to a referrer.
- Qualifying referral
- A referred license that is active and meets the program rules.
